About the film: BLACK X is a genre-bending short film with nightmarish visuals and electrifying choreography. From a Black man’s perspective, the film explores depression, spirituality, and self-discovery through an experimental lens. The film premiered at Dupont Underground DC as a film screening and digital exhibit in Sept 2022. The exhibit was featured on Great Day Washington on WUSA-Channel 9 and attracted 600+ attendees over two weekends. BLACK X was also selected to participate in the Heritage Film Festival based in Maryland.
